Gnaphosid spiders are mostly nocturnal, ground-dwelling foraging species that occur among rocks, leaf litter, and grasses, and are common in desert environments. Based on its dark pigmentation this species is likely an epigean animal that may occasionally hunt in cave entrance areas. A single individual was recorded from the Jackrabbit Shaft.
