Eutroglophile? Predator Rare?
We have found two unidentified juvenile theridiids in the interior of the cave. We are uncertain if they represent one or two species, and we are also unable to determine if they are A. canionis or represent one or two additional theridiid species. Additional specimens (adults) will be needed to determine the status of these animals. There is probably an equal chance that these animals may represent at least one additional species since they have been found only in the cave interior, and A. canionis is restricted to cave entrance areas. Alternatively the juveniles may represent dispersing or vagrant individuals of A. canionis, or may be accidentals that entered the cave on tour visitors.
